Airflow screws provided and Dry hits ..!?
The airflow screw that is mounted on the atomizer seems to measure 0.8 or 1mm, but the other provided are all three at the same diameter, apparently 1.2mm, because a 1.5mm drill bit does not pass!

For a good use of this atomizer it is necessary to remove a small screw that obstructs one of the two holes of supply of the liquid, otherwise you will have dry hit, the allen wrench is not provided, I used a torx wrench T3 which did the job.

Many thanks for this info Tonycobweb, you've been a great help. I'd given up on my SHU because of the dry hits. It performs so well now after removing the tiny screw which i didn't even know existed. Such a good looking MTL atty too!

Same situation with my Ulton Shu in regards the airflow screw sizes, but that doesn't matter to me as i will only be using the smallest one which gives the perfect draw for me.

how did you manage to remove machine oil from this atty?
i tried almost every things to clean it but unfortunately without luck !

Hot water and dishwashing liquid in a container, and then a good rinse again with hot water was all that was needed for cleaning! You can use a paintbrush or an old toothbrush

Have you tried boiling water ? Had this issue once and I just boiled the parts in a pot for a couple of minutes with a drop of detergent, it worked fine.

Be careful, if you boil the water too long, the O-rings may expand and you could have problems later, leaking or tearing the seals!

thank you , i cooked it three times and finally i can use it without machine oil .
