Little mistake in description
It is written:

TEMPERATURE CONTROL (TC)Yes

VARIABLE VOLTAGE (VV) No

VARIABLE WATTAGE (VW) Yes

Should be:

TEMPERATURE CONTROL (TC)Yes

VARIABLE VOLTAGE (VV) Yes

It has VV but not for tc. Press the menu button, use + or - button to scroll through until you reach VV. Hit the fire button to select it. 0.8V-7.0V.

Nice DNA 75C conversion btw.

Did you get the Grus to be seamless after install? Others say it wont quite close up tightly top and bottom...due to the length of the 75c chip.
What does he mean when he says words?

The 75c fits Perfect! I had to dremel the screen holder a bit, it's plastic so it was easy :) The 75c screen is a bit wider, the rest of the chip fit right in, every thing! This isn't the first swap I'v done :) I used to buy 3D printed or other enclosures but swaps are by far the cheapest & easiest way to get a unique C mod :)

Thats a Bottom Feeder Boxer Clone witch I changed to a non BF'er with a Source 510 :) & a Vicious Ant 200 mod both dual battery 250c's :) Dual 20700 & 18650 respectively :)

Damn tight swap in the knock off Boxers! I ended up with a flailing fire button eventually I had to go back in and remedy.
GV's design always did draw question IMHO and more so without much credit to the actual designer!

Anywho, how's the button throw on the swapped GRUS? I haven't done mine yet and in my opinion the GRUS I have has the best actuators I've seen/felt in a while.

The Grus is one of the easiest & best fitting swaps to do :) All the original stuff fits back on, including the rubber pieces over the buttons that cover the DNA75c buttons just like they did on the original board, so you get a really nice button feel just like when it was original :) I replaced the out & ground wire to the 510, IMO a little thin for 75c. The battery wires were fine, I just added an extension on the + wire instead of desoldering the battery contact :) The solder on the 510 is a little hard to melt! it's never easy to solder to Stainless Steal :(

It is the easiest of the 3 mods I showed :) It goes back together just like it was never apart! Even if you have never tried a DNA swap? This would be the mod to try it on :)

Cool beans! I've watched a video swap and it does look pretty straight forward with only the screen cradle needing modification.
And yes I agree, the wires aren't up to snuff especially if you're going intentional software with the 75C.

LOL i remember that "vicious ant/Vape Cige" mod! I have a DNA 75c version, It's a good mod overall! Glad you got some good use out of it! I remember back when we were all buying those Boxers...I still have my 250c convert, Needs new contacts however...

I remember when Vicious Ant was a High End name! Back in the REO days this was a much sot after RDA! Visious Ant Cyclone with the Cyclops AFC Cap :)



I had 2 or 3 of them, sold them all off, after awhile. Wonder if the original Vicious Ant is still in business?

No, you have a Chinese knock-off. VA are very much in business. The mod is actually The VapeCige Creator. I guess some enterprising Chinese businessman bought the leftovers and rebranded them.
