Why so tall?
Has anyone tried it? How come these unusual dimensions? Thanks ...

It should cool the vape a bit.
If I'm ignoring you it's because you're fallacy impaired. Here's hoping you rectify your problem so that we might have a sensible conversation.

Years ago, tips (made of SS or brass) of this length and longer were relatively common. I think I still have a couple, somewhere.

These days, if you have an open side-by-side, and use a short atty, a longer tip can be useful.

It's twelve inches long, but don't use it as a rule...

I remember those tips... :-)
The longest I have is 2.5 cm... But this is DOUBLE:
if it gives me so much, it should replace ice in e-liquids.! AHAHAH! :-)

I think one of mine, dating back to maybe 2012 or 2013 is about 12cm long! These days, you wouldn't expect to see it on anything other than an e-pipe perhaps.

Nobody's breaking Bernoulli law on my watch!
It can't provide any noticeable cooling.
Its just kitschy accessory for kitschy tank.

What, exactly, does Bernoulli have to do with anything? This is plain ol' thermodynamics. You might want to have a chat with the ghost of Rudolf Klausius about this one.

Nope, no need to go that deep, since Bernoulli already discovered what his delicious vapor cools down much better when flows slowly in wide dome than when flows quickly thru narrow drip tip.
