Unstable ohm value?
Hello everybody,

I've seen some videos and read some posts on fb where an unstable ohm value is shown during the fire operation.

Especially in MTL I guess it couldn't be nice.

Somebody says it's because of the pin height that must be well regulated, answers are that it happens anyway.

I wonder if it could be a problem of the chip itself or of insulator construction.

Does somebody knows more about it?

Thanks

could be using a stainless coil maybe, they fluctuate a bit if you cant lock the ohm's or use it in wattage mode

But afaik this mod has wattage mode and the ohm variation is pretty large from what i've seen, that's why i'm wondering about, however thanks for the answer! :)

It's luck of the draw. Mine works fine. You need to ask yourself do you feel lucky when buying any clone

SXK is now SUXK. Quality consistency is no longer what it used to be with them.

I replaced the mods 510 center pin with a longer M3 screw. All I had was squonk BF pin, but it worked great. Stable (no fluctuating) and ohm readings are accurate.

You probably noticed how loose the center pin gets, as you unscrew for height adjustment. That what's causing the resistance issue... GL

FWIW I had the same issue with another mod which had an adjustable positive 510 pin. This is a suboptimal design unless the threads are really tight, and the required tolerances are something typically cheaped out on when it comes to clones.

Good to know. I'll give this a try if mine jumps around when it arrives.
