YEP!
Exotic coils made with thinner wire are labeled MTL in this day and age.

Vandy Vape started it when they introduced their Superfine MTL line of coils and wires:

Probably damn nice coils if you pump 35-40 watts into 'em. Each. Otherwise you're going to miss your bus/flight/meeting waiting for them to hot up enough for a vape. They're MTL coils in much the same way as the Mason 40mm was an MTL RDA.

If you're willing to wait quite a while for a good draw (or only consider the last part of a good ol' chain vaping session to be a vape, after those primer/preheat rituals have been gone through), and don't mind the coil staying hot for several seconds after you're finished your draw.

Hmmmm
Coilology 316l MTL in the CV Integra, 4 wraps I.D. 2.5mm, ohms at .43 powered at 23 watts and somehow the coil is firing almost instantaneously. Am I doing something wrong? lmao!

Edit: Works real well on a mech too.

OIC, yeah, these coils would take more power to heat because of the larger wires.

I even get a decent MTL vape @ 12/14 watts using kfun 5 and kafun V3
You really don't need to crank up the power to get these working

I told you so !
