The metal key is used to disassemble the tank completely, like if you wanted to give it a very thorough cleaning or needed to replace the glass. You’ll notice little slots in the chimney on one of the pictures of the tank where the top cap is off. Teenage angst has paid off well. Now I'm bored and old. Working...
