I'm hard vaper

I bought this chip more than once and every time it only works for about a month

Anyone have the same problem is exactly ?

I am not sure that this is the reason

But one month or less is too short for this chip

Is it possible to use another chip with high quality made? I don't mind even if it is expensive

I am very upset

CTHULHU TUBE MOD is the best mod I have ever used after the provari so I don't want to lose

because of this cheap chip

May be the fire button, I've had one fail but I didn't go through an autopsy.

Check the fire button connection to the board!
I actually bought a spare Mosfet, just incase! But when mine failed I had a closser look & the fire button hadn't been soldered very well :(
I just re-soldered it & it's been working fine for a long time now!

Sniff it...does it smell burnt? If so, it's toast. Keep in mind that a simple short (posts touching, cap touching coil leg) will destroy these mosfets. Treat them like a mech, and always check your atty on a regulated mod after any work on your build or disassembly/ maintenance. I killed my last one when a coil leg found it's way into the deck of my Hussar Project X, of course unbeknownst to me...DOA !

Build .2 or higher, your mosfet will last almost indefinitely if you follow the above steps.

Hi SC, I'm sorry you are having issues. it is 8 days after you started this thread...the burning smell of plastic is immediately after, not 8 days later. One thing to do is visually inspect your chips - do you see any black marks or melted components? It's really hard to help you without knowing your build/ohms or even knowing what mod you are using this chip on - It fits many mosfets tubes. You say you love the Cthulu, so I'll assume thats your application.

If you can post pictures, or more info, I could probably help you. Mosfets and mosfet mods are simple, but fragile. A low build will instantly kill it. That could be a low build (below .2) or an "artificially" low build, i.e., a short.

Don't crank the screw down too tight in the Cthulu mod is one thing I remember, bearing on this issue I'm not sure of though.

Hi

I'm sure the first second the chip stopped working, there was no burning smell

I use the chip with Cthulu mod

no black marks
no melted ingredients

Also my build is (0.8)

I'm pretty sure the switch is at fault, it doesn't click anymore does it? Hard to press and doesn't really bounce back afterward?

It's a faulty switch just like the one I have that broke. I just found mine.

I'm going to take mine apart and take a look.
