i can mount it but the button stuck in and goes autofire. also battery cap can't screw down well.

HI Cris.

you have to sand down the negative contact on the Cthulhu chip, there is good margin.

i have do with dremel and finished by hands with fine sand paper.

really easy.

also when you instal the chip after the sanding, push on "On" button when the screw the Atto body/Cap for be sure position is best.

also what i do,if i do take atomizer of the Atto mod,i do first unscrew totally the battery cap (or take out battery),same for inverse when you put back the atomizer.

hope it help.

sorry my ENglish shitty.

ok for sanding, i can try. but the real problem is the fire button. i'm able to mount it only by removing the ss part from the tube. anyway it is really really tight.

for put the chip inyou have to use a kind of "angle" with the button of the chip touching the Atto Steel button.

about sanding down the negative contact on the chip, you can take quite some,me i do based on the height of other component around.

if really problem for fit the chip due to diamùeter, carefully sand OD of the chip, but really not much.

also a thing i have do on my two chip,is that i added some UV glue on the legs of the fire button, for make it more firm and less prone to fatigue.
i trimed a little the UV glue for the perfect fit with Xacto blade as exemple

I have a question for you mosfet specialists. I bought the Cthulhu Tube mod with the V1 Chip that was water resistant + silicon piece and it worked very well for months. But i had a flood problem with an atty and got liquid leaking thru the fire button. I cleaned everything but i think the chip is "fried" because the mod is getting hot even without firing it. So i tryed ro replace it with the V2 chip i bought but i got the same dimensions problem that shows cris.t earlier. If i screw the chip, the fire button is stuck. If i don't screw it the fire button works but will autofire if i put the battery in the mod. As i am very concerned with safety i will not modify the chip myself.

So my question, is there any other mosfet that i could use in my Cthulhu Tube? I really like this mod it was using it everydays.

Really the sanding down of the V2 chip is nothing, really not hard and safe to do,please read some of my poor English description upper.
i'm sure you can do this done nicely. :)

i'm not aware of any other nice chip for the cthulhu, btw i think remember the V1 chip was not liquidproof.

Bon Courage !

Use the Atto chip on the Cthulhu mod, its better and more reliable. The Cthulhu chip burns out whenever the built is too low or short, whereas the atto chip would not fire if there is a short,
