Need help pleaase
Hi fellow vapers,

I am very disappointed by the performance of this atomizer. The machining is stunning, the flavor is here, no wicking problems, but I can't seem to find the right way to have great airflow. I explain.

If I use the 1.2mm afc insert, the draw is very restricted (the 1.2 in my KF prime is perfect), and if I use the next afc insert, which is the 1.5, it's way too airy. The difference is too big, I tried to bring the coil close to the airhole, I tried a spaced and a micro coil, no difference.

I'm using a 28ga, 2.5mm id, 7 wraps coil.

Has anyone experienced the same problem? I think of drilling the 1,2mm afc insert a lit bit, but I wanted to know what do you think first?

I would like to mention that I also verified all the orings, and that the sealing is perfect, not a single air is coming in when I draw and block the airhole in the bottom.

Any clues?

Thank you and sorry for my english,
Best regards,

strange, only Reason I can imagine is that Your 1,2mm Insert is in Reality a 0,8 or 1,00 Insert.

Thank you for your reply,

I don't think so because I have 6 afc inserts which are all in different sizes.

Do you know if the original afc inserts are compatible with this clone?

Thank you!

I purchased SKU 9652329 (0.8/1.0/1.5/2.0/2.5mm) that fit my Coppervape Dvarw but it does not have a 1.2mm insert. Maybe I missed it but I could not find a 1.2mm insert on this site.

Because the 1.2mm insert comes by default with all dvarw models here.

+1 details
Going from 1.2mm to 1.5mm is pretty much a 50% jump in airflow, and that can be a lot. You can either learn to like one of the two, or drill the 1.2mm out. 1.35mm would put you midway between them, but it's not a common drill size. 1.3mm and 1.4mm are, and they'll give you about 17% and 36% more air than the 1.2mm respectively. (That said, if you're using a hand drill or drill press rather than a mill, your 1.3mm hole will probably come out a little oversized.)
