Which coils ?
Does anyone know where to find some nice pre-made coils >1.0 ohms here on FT ?

Or what setting do you guys use on this atty ?

I found out that 3mm ID is too big for it. So I need something like 2.5 ID and maybe like 1.5 ohms.

my coil on FEV : 28Ga, 8 rounds on 2.5 mm for ~.8ohm
the same in kanthal should be around 1.5ohm

Any of this range is good.
I use these SKU 5134606 in my kayfun 5.
S/s version for faster ramp

Your link gives (26*3 + 32 AWG)*ID 2.5 / 0.15ohm coils !

Those are huge coils, they need big watts to get warm, dont they?
i'm not sure you can use that on MTL attys such as FEV...

0.5 to 0.9 is my sweet spot
Don't be shy to use Clapton's in your MTL rba they work great

There are claptons and claptons..

I've tried sth like 28x2+38 on my FEV, was good but needed at least 20W to get warm quickly.
under 20W, simple 28Ga is what i prefer.

I have 30x2+38 wire, not tested yet, but could be nice @15W...

30x2+28 heats up a little faster but round wire is faster

Thanks to all who dropped a comment here.
I finally found some specs with higher ohms at FT.

Was a bit tricky at first, because the standard search field on top of the page didn't recognized what I wanted.
But when you just look for coils or coiled wire, and use the filters on the left, there you see some items with +1.0 - 2.0 ohms.
Bought some nice new hardware too (not here, but a great temp. offer I couldn't resist. like tauren max for 50 bucks, and mage v2 stacked for 40)... now own 8 mods and 20 attys... *argl*
