Your favorite setup?
What kind of wire and what power do you usually use?
What screws?
Do you find it best for tobacco, cream, fruit, complex...aromas?

Mine is round SS, 0.32 mm, 2.5 mm, 8-10 wraps slightly spaced, 15 W, two smallest screws. Works nice in TC also...
Tobacco...

My favourite (and simple) build is :
- round SS 0.32mm, axis 2.5mm, 8 rounds (~0.70 ohm).
- 1 airflow, 2.1mm (the biggest). My coil is not centered, but offset (close to the AF)
- 15 W (with TC as heat protection - ~240°C)

I vape 100% tobbaco juices (DiY). Synthetic or NETs. I love

This is one of the best flavor RTA available. No matter what wire, wick, or juice you use, it gives a good vape. IMHO it must be the design because it is completely different from all others. I think it’s the juice delivery/wicking system that provides a good balance which makes it special.

My favorite is using titanium with rayon & TC. Good vape and stays cleaner much longer.

@vins59
you use it for (loose) MTL, same as I do
Is anybody using it as (restricted) DL?
I really wonder what was it constructed for initially? MTL, DL, both..?

Initially (in 2012?), FeV was a MTL atty. There was only one airflow hole, around 1mm.
Then, there were airflow screw : 1.1, 1.2, 1.4mm, then 2.1mm, then 2 x 2.1mm...

Man this tank performs like a champ. Have no issue whatsoever. Dense, saturated thick(?) Vapor it produces. Very nice. I can easily put this one over dvarw, ubertoot etc. Hussar may be able to compete with this one.

I am not able to get good flavor when vaping under 15 W and my usual power is within range of 7-9 W (old school MTL). I presume it is because of its relatively big chambre? I must try it as rDL aty (not sure if chimney is wide enough?)...
@Petery
It is one of my favorites, too

For feeding holes I use Ulton steel wick, they are really great and they fit perfectly with this clone.
https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10057722/9675929-replacement-wicks-for-fev-v5-atomizer-2-pack

My FEV looks just like this Russian guy's, only with yellow shorty drip tip. This yellow tank is perfect.

I tried using this aty as rDL (with wide boar DT and with no screws) and for me its not good. It sounds like whistle, not enough air (in chimney), flavor not good...pity

No idea what mod is in the picture, sorry...
