Wrong Resistance
Hi,
The base of my FEV 4.5 is not working properly : value of my resistance is alway moving, from the right value to very high (2, 3, 5 ohms) and sometimes "no atomizer".
i've tried 3 builds, on several mods : same problem.
Moreover, when i fire, the value is right, for the time i fire...
I guess there is a problem inside the base, somewhere between the 510 and the posts...
Am i alone with this issue?
Anyway, i've opened a ticket, hope we'll find a solution. When i'm refunded, i will be able to dismantle the base and see what's inside ! (the old discussion about positive connection with a wire or not?)
Not a big issue, as i have plenty of FEV and bases, but i was about to reorder this SKU, which is really nice-looking (and nice-listening as well :).
Now i prefer to wait a bit before re-order...

It's maybe only your 510 pin. Did you manage to take it apart? (since)
I've been using mine on two different regulated (and on some other) mods, they show about 0.2ohm difference but vaping is about the same. My pin is recessed a bit and can take it out with a fingernail. However it works.
But would love to find a replacement pin for it.

Salut Michel, thanks, but it was the first thing to try. If I put anything under the pin it won't make connection any-more. Never mind, that one has been stuck on a VW mod ;)
