Hello joseluisog.09.

The SKU 9630785 doesn't have the MAP coupon code.

Thank you.

I'm curious, isn't 3amp charging hard on the batteries? I'm just wondering if it's more cost effective to have more batteries and charge at a lower rate.

Yes, it is.

I figured as much. I seem to remember reading years ago that you ideally want to charge in the .5amp range. I didn't think there was any significant change in battery chemistry in that time. I purchased the 8 bay Miboxer charger for that reason. Plus I now only have to charge batteries once a week now.

Right again. Trickle charging at 0.5amp is best and I purchased the Miboxer C8 for the same reason as you did plus I can charge more 21700's on it.

Damn your dual phase system anyway Europe! You get six amps out of the same model we get 2.5 from, I'm not jiving with the listed power factor difference but, China.
Always keep your ear to the ground!

I note the 8 slot version is about $3 cheaper so other than lower charging amps is there any other function that you would lose by getting the the c-8 insteed?

Everything else is the same. Two 4 bay Miboxer chargers for the price of less than one. :)

I've only used the C8 a few times since I first bought it, but I can recommend it has performed very well so far and has a great set of features. The thing I've found really impressive is that, unlike other chargers I've owned, it"s ability to dissipate the heat. The charger nor the batteries get warm.

Time will tell how it holds up in the long run, but that's how it is with everything. If you are going to buy a charger though, 8 bays for less than 4 is the way to go.
