The first squonk-box from Wismec, I like it , if the fire button has an on off switch and the panels are available separately, this could be a nice box with the 100 watt

My hope for this year was that companies like Joyetech (or their daughter companies Wismec/Eleaf) would come out with some well-thought-out regulated squonkers. Preferably with a VTC mini board in it or something similar.

Their first attempt has the same old stupid bottle design, is unregulated, and is basically a redesigned pico squeeze.

Well done Wismec for once again not understanding the market. People buy so many mech squonkers because there's hardly any well-made regulated ones available.

Joyetech: look at the RSQ, take that form factor, put in a VTC mini board, and make it from light-weight aluminium material, don't use the proprietary bottle nonsense, price it around $40-45, release 7-8 different colors and you'll sell more mods than you ever have. I guarantee it.

I personally quite like the pico squeeze bottle arrangement (although i wish they produced a stopper for the loose bottles!) and i quite like the look of this mod. but, i wont be buying one for much of the reasons airwinny said. its just a pico squeeze in a party frock, and has more loose parts to lose.

I am currently not in the market for another squonk mod since i bought an rsq, but i would buy at least one of these!

So, this has the same chip as the Pico squeeze? With the protections built in etc? If so, why is there no onboard charging? Seems a bit all over the shop to me and 100W? Nah.

well it must be at least slightly different to the pico squeeze board: no battery indicator light (yet), and 100W vs the pico's 50W. but I would think they probably used the squeeze board as a starting point.

Same here, this actually looks really, really nice. I actually kinda want one :)

Which is what annoys me about it...this'll probably sell well, so the next Wismec squonker will again be unregulated "because that's what sells".

Exactly!

And since we seem to have agreed that this is the thread to talk about this mod:

phlegmor wrote:

It's a prettier Pico Squeeze, which is fine by me. On the other hand, my price threshold for Joyewisleaf-crap so far has been 15$ (totally happy with buying the Squeeze at that price, even when I had to open it and seat the button correctly...), so I would have to think about it (or wait for a price drop/rebate). A textured black delrin faceplate would probably change my mind.

I think it looks great and I really don't mind the Pico Squeeze bottle system, it works perfectly.

I will probably wait for some reviews and a couple more reviews of the Raptor...and then there is also that awesome looking Aspire squonk thing on the horizon. In a more efficient market the timing of the release of the Luxotic would be really bad, but since it's vaping, the Wismec thing will probably eclipse everything else.

Btw.: I find it really funny that they advertise the non-working 50W-cutoff of the Squeeze as 100W max now. Less funny that people fall for crap like that. It's a single 18650 mod, better calculate with 50-60W max, people!

Cheers!

...Seriously people, get the Raptor and the Samsung 21700-30T or the Sanyo 20700A 30A, if you want to reasonably vape a single battery mod at 70W or more!Cheers!

The only squonker that's worth a punt (after you've bought your fill of cheap plastic boxes) has been around for sometime now, a very affordable, 200watt (lets be realistic & call it 140watt), 2 battery regulated box:-

GeekVape GBOX SKU 9616323 (after MAP its around $45 so ignore the $66 tag)

& its just started to be marked as SOLD OUT so be quick.
