But as I told so, the square version of this SKU looked more like real wood. Went to see all the stab wood SKUs, unfortunate, not many peeps posted photos about them (reviews)

I'm okay with wood it's just after using iron. Now I know why the wood and steel workers unions don't mix. :P

What sort of work were you doing, wuwei, when you worked with iron and wood?

(I think now we can abuse the thread as Morris took his decision) ;-)

I was in furniture making. We did one off pieces for rich people and corporate outfits. The designer had his own range. It meant low tech metal fabrication too, frames and such.

IIRC, the worst staining of my hands was from the table sander. There was a handle on the platform for table tops that was metal. You could pull the bed in and out while you used a fashioned trowl to press down the sanding belt onto a table top.

My background was industrial design, so I wasn't specifically a wood worker or metal worker (no union conflict). My senior was also an industrial designer. We only had one joiner, a painter and another utility. The boss/designer just made outline drawings and left the detail design to us.

There are faces that look like a burl. I'm wondering if they might be something under the banner of "hardwood" burls, like from eucalyptus trees or similar. There are parts that look synthetic, but maybe because of the coloured dyes or tints.

I have very little ideas about exotic wood...But before dying it (especially the front panel) just looked and felt like some sort of plastic. Still feels like tough...

edit: oups... had a better look on the link you just sent. It's cherry. =) "Burls" may be ideal to use for stab wood.

We felt truly sorry for the problem, Kindly let me know if you have new order in recently, we will add a small gift in it.
Thank you!"
