for 10% of the price of a dicodes it looks pretty decent yes......still I got 2 Original dicodes tubes, so don't need this, but else I would buy :-)

In 18650 mode it's 1,4 cm taller than a Dicodes Dani.

+2 details
So, Ive had this for a few weeks, and let me tell you, this thing is definitely no Dicodes... but for $25 (I paid $35 when I ordered it from the UK) it satisfied my dicodes craving while I wait to order the real deal.

While it's a great buy for the money, it has a couple big negatives:

First, and foremost, anything over 30 watts or so held down firing for over two seconds will burn the shit out of your fingers at the tube extension joints. This thing has only four tiny venting holes on the battery cover. Speaking of the battery cover, mine became stuck inside the last extension tube withing a week of owning it. I must have damaged the threading somehow, which is easy since the threads run all the way to the end of the tube with no protection.

Secondly (or thirdly really), the chip increments and decrements power by 0.5. The fourth thing that sucks is the chip starts to drop output, or just really becomes very weak about the time the battery level read half...

Other thatn that, it's pretty cool. Maybe this is the beginning of the return of the (regulated) tubes finally... I really want a 2395 still.... hint hint china.... ;)

So with regular use, my 101 finally died after about one year. Even with the previously mentioned shortcomings, I didn't think twice about ordering another one (as I still haven't seemed to be able to figure out how to buy a Dicodes tube without my daughter going hungry).

I was pleasantly surprised to find my new one was really more of a 101 v2 - the bottom cover issue was suitably resolved with a better quality solution primarily provided by a ~2mm "foot" extending flush out from the inner end opening (however now you cannot remove the end cover). The 510 connection seems to have had some attention as well. There are probably some other updates I'm overlooking too.

The downside? the rapid heating of the tube joints still occurs, though noticeably less (this of course depends on your atomizer's properties). There also is now only 2 battery/tube options (18650/18350).

This dicodes look-a-like is still a no-brainer, especially since the cigreen titan appears to have only been a myth...(if you have one sell it to me!!!)

I find tightening up more the joints after cleaning and tightening the battery adjustment cap,
usually helps relive the hotspots,
I've had mine over a year still working well,
Although I do like the vapor giant v2.5 mini mod more,
but thats mech tube 23mm,
