coil placement
I'm trying to figure out where to put my coil when building this - i've tried it with mesh and cotton and my berserker still produces more flavor.
on the same subject - where is the spinning deck supposed to be? should the two posts be close together or at 12 and 6 of the deck?

According to the modder, between the two posts there shuould be 3mm. You can achieve that by placing a 3mm drill bit between them and then tightening the 510 pin. The coil should be placed more or less above the sqounk pin.

I'd recommend placing the coil at the end of the pin, towards the airhole, and then lifting it up slightly (0,5/1mm above the deck). My favourite build is 5 wraps, 28 awg kanthal on a 2mm drill bit.

Hope it helps.

I don't have one of these. But in my Origen I found that having the coil as close to the hole as possible, and slightly raised (like this: air hole--> ,() <--coil) works best. I use 2mm 28g coils with 5-7 wraps.
But I also have a Berserker Mini... pretty tough to beat for flavor. lol

thanks for the reply guys! i positioned the coil closer to the airhole and that improved the flavor. It's still no bottom airflow RDA though :( too bad there isn't a bf pin for the OG Magma.
