Comparison with the cheapest version (photo)
As you can see from the images here are the differences between the economic version on the left and the YFTK on the right:
1 - The deck has a different design in the negative contact part and the edge thickness is higher in the YFTK version
2- The thread tightening screws are different
3- The internal design of the bell in the economic version is completely rounded while in the YFTK the end part near the drip tip is flat
4 - The air hole is slightly larger in the YFTK version, it is a couple of cents, basically in the YFTK version it is almost identical to the original one.
5 - The central pin is identical in both and interchangeable while it is not deck and bell, in the economic version the deck is wider and the thickness of the bell thinner.

In terms of yield the two are equivalent, not known substantial differences except for the mouth shot that in the YFTK is slightly more open (little thing) and the bell of the economic version tends to heat more.

Really though, how good is this RDA when it comes to flavor in MTL?

Also, any difference in flavor between these 2? And, did you get the cheaper one from here?

They are outstanding! I have the cheap one in black and it's my favorite RDA.

I confirm, they are both outstanding, perfect for MTL and mix of combined tobaccos; the differences in flavor are minimal, almost irrelevant, if we really want to look at the nuances I have to say that the YFTK is more balanced and soft as shooting and heats up less than the cheap one.
I got the cheap one from here.

i like to go into every tiniest detail, it's how i get most efficiency and satisfaction. 1 point for you.

there's actually 3 versions of this, the yftk, the silver, and silver B. I like the flat blade screws the B version has but the juice well looks tiny in the pics

i too have the cheap silver (not b) SKU 7441200 version although i've not used it yet because am waiting to finish a diy mod for it

I dont do MTL but i do "restricted lung hits"? lung hitting MTL atties, stock airflow on these is perfect for me

Mine has the domed hex screws. I need a squonker, but as a dripper it's very good for MTL. It's tue value version.

I'm happy chance it on economic versions but have come across some where the peek is cheaply made and tastes fried, like my NoName Unlimited style RDA. Peek's supposed to withstand high temps - not when you just ramp up lol. Urgh. Never forgot that scorched plastic taste *smucks lips - channels taste memory*

btw, the deck machining looks good on the RHS version, other than that both look really nice, and on par
Resistance is not futile, it's V/I

The bottom AF (Kennedy-style) were a dime a dozen at one phase, and tried a few but wasn't for me. Though the EHPRO Nixon RDA looked really good. The V1 and the V2. Was going to get the V2 but opted out. They do look good though imo.
V1:

V2:

Really deep wells

Edit: Air flow can be cut off with a valve
Edit2: And fk Nixon
