I personally think and use a basic micro / spaced coils for all bottom fed drippers, also i use s/s wicks on my origens which have been converted to bottom fed for tabacco / cigar flavours, they are nice crisp tasting , flavour over clouds is the key word 😋
I told you so !

I've built a kanthal 26/35 clapton in mine... 6 wraps around 3mm, and it works very well.
I did drill out the airhole to give about 2mm diameter though. A setup I am finding giveing better results than my Origen 16 tiny on flavour. I vape inbetween MTL and DLH, or maybe best described as very open MTL.

🤔 setup perfetto che consiglia il modder é 5 spire su punta da 2 di kantal uso 6 spire di 0.32 e una bomba 💣

8 wraps on 2.5mm is good for 316L. I haven't received it, but that's where I will begin with 30 AWG. It's the same on my Kayfun Mini V2.1.

I'm using 28Ga 5 or 6 wraps 2mm or 2,2mm. Around 1 ohm or 0,85 on mec mods it's amazing but only with booms, azhad and tobacs. No custards or fruity flavors.

The INOWIRE SS304 Hollow wire is fantastic on this atom: on these 18mm. atoms I use the 28ga It practically behaves as a 29ga, I found that inserting a fictious value of 0,27mm. wire diameter on Steam Engine works perfectly.

I usually make 8,5 wraps (many refers to it as 8 wraps) on a 2mm. I.D., ending up with a 0,90 Ohm coil, that has to be positioned slightly toward airhole side and levelled with the lower cup's lip or slightly (less than 1 mm.) higher.
Muji cotton, cut very short to just touch the bottom of the cup.

I vape it at 11,5-12,5W on a regulated mod, but it's almost perfect also on a mech or on a Pico Squeeze IF the battery isn't fully charged (at 4,0V it is a tad too hot of a vape for me, probably making 16-17W and 260-270 mW/mm² of heat flux).
On a mech I like it when the battery is around 3,7V-3,8V, an it allows for a wonderful vape for all the usable range down to 3,3V-3,2V lower limit.
