It's not really in the build but rather in how little air you allow in to it and a small bore drip tip, hth.

I've had a hard time getting a bad build with it. :P

With Kanthal A1 27-28 AWG 6 wraps for a 2.5mm coil is good. It's about 0.85-1.0 ohm. It leaves space for the wick to tuck in easily.

28 AWG 316L SS is good too 9-10 wraps on a 2.5mm coil.

IMO, you don't need to build below 0.8 to get a nice full vape.

I've been vaping nothing but these since i got them. Even ordered a couple more. Build them just like any other atty with a single coil. Mine work equally well with TC wires as kanthal.
Very intuitive to build and nigh on impossible to get wrong (except perhaps if you put too big a coil in there - could short out on the chamber).
I keep one of these in my jacket pocket all day long and not a drop of leakage. Excellent atty.
More sense than money.....

5 Wraps , 3.5 Dia , 24awg, 0.5 Ohm
unexpectedly the big coil 3.5mm dia gave me the best flavor comparing to 3mm & 2.5mm dia coils

i dunno about that. i have a rather wide drip tip on mine and it's still pretty much MTL.

Yeah I can understand that but the small bores do tighten up the draw as well.

I think I passed the phase where I need a narrow DT for MTL. I still use narrow ones, but I can cope with medium now. It's a cigarette thing and muscle memory of your cheeks.

5 to 7 wraps, 2.5 diameter of kanthal 28.

3mm is too much even with 50/50 liquids
