Anyone got one of these ?
The only review is from a guy who's mod arrived DOA so that doesn't bode well, plus my own experience of Wotofo stuff has not been good. But, this is on sale at the moment and for the price they're asking it looks like a very good deal for a small back up mod with half-decent battery life...if it works. So, looking to hear from someone who has one that did not arrive DOA and can vouch that they do actually work ok, because for the price they're asking I might grab a couple...but only if they work.

It's old, hasn't been made for a couple of years, and has a built-in battery. It was a pretty nice little mod in its day, but that day is on a calendar that was thrown out last year.

It may arrive with just enough residual charge on it to allow the charging circuit to work. Charging circuits usually won't even try to charge a cell once it's fallen below about 2.5 volts because they'd need very careful cycling to restore them, and it's not particularly safe with most lithium chemistries. If it works, it's a great buy, but it's a lottery ticket at this point.

Sorry Esselar, I have to speak against Your Opinion :-(. I buy a lot of these old build-in Battery Mods these Days because they are so f....cheap and often small and lightweight. If they have a built-in Lipo Battery and no Li-Ion they usually have still nearly full Power and work very well. I don't know how it will be with tis One, but I ordered 2 of them and can tell You in a few Weeks if they are Crap or not....but Chances are good they will also work well. By the Way, a Fact most People don't know when they say Built-In's are not as good as Changeable Ones: Built-In Batteries are normally Lipo's and You can recharge them 10 Times more often than a normal Li-Ion Battery. So in this Case You get a complete Mod for the Price of 2 Li-Ion's with 5 Times the Lifespan of the 2 Batteries.

Yeah I'm with you in this. I've got a
Pilot Vape Smart Nano that was already old when I bought it 3 years ago and has been discontinued for the last 2 years but it's still going strong. Fantastic little mod with a 2600 mah internal battery.

It's not that built-in battery mods are bad, but that these will have been sitting around for a couple of years with only the nominal/maintenance/storage charge. ALL rechargeable lithium batteries self-discharge slowly over time. If the battery discharges to below 2.5V, it's essentially unrecoverable. The same mod purchased two years ago and recharged periodically would still work, provided it hasn't been used to death (ie, it hasn't exceeded its charge life cycle), but that doesn't tell you anything about the state of a new purchase of a unit made at the same time.

It's a lottery ticket, as I said. If the battery charges when you get it, you're a winner and it'll be a good mod. If it doesn't, well, it's a lottery ticket that didn't win anything.

I ordered 2 of them, they arrived last Week, both work great. Battery Capacity was at 60% when they arrived, as it should be.
