Just to be sure
Ok, anyone who can shed a light on this. I've read and watched a lot of reviews on this.

I'm attracted by it because of the small form (own a pico stick) and the squeeze function. Getting tired of dripping. At home, not a problem. When going out, a pain.

Anyway, I both like and do not like mech mods. I love that they are small. I hate their safety. I know ohm's law, I can build coils, am not good with the numbers in battery safety, but know what batteries to use in a certain mech after some research, but most of all, I love the safety of regulated mods.

I don't care that I have to build a coil to meet a specific ohm requirement. I don't miss the vw function on a regulated mod.

That brings me to the pico squeeze. In reviews, it is said that this device, even though it acts as a mech mod, it has all the safeties build in of a regulated mod.

Is that true?

And of course, no more dripping!

well its not regulated -> mech style vaping.
Has short circuit protection and it wont fire if the battery is to low.
You also have the blinking led which kinda shows the battery voltage.

So it fits for you , since it has the safety :)

Perfect, thanks!

So if one of the legs of the coil somehow gets loose, touches the post and short circuit, it just doesn't fire?

Here is a very good technical review and rundown:

And yep, it's got safety.

Thanks Mrjohs!

Wow, what an extensive review. I can't pretend to "get" even half of it, but my worries are gone now.

Glad that this mod is well protected. And I will not go looking for the absolute Edge, so nothing to worry about.

Do you know how it compares to the Hadaly flavor wise?

And which nano version do you recommend? I see several wasp nano's here. Nano mini (Brass, SS + PEI), Nano Reisin or Nano SS + PEI or PC?

They are all basicly the same, the only one I would avoid is the black version as the deck is painted which might be a bit dodgy. Chose whichever you think looks best or go for the original ultem version (PEI). Never used a Hadaly so I can't compare it to the wasp.

btw, if you're getting the silver Pico squeeze then the white wasp (SS + PC) would match nicely in my opinion.

If you use bigger coils with more airflow the Wasp, Hadaly is better for smaller coils with tighter airflow. I'd try to find a SXK Hussar RDTA w/ bf pin. Adds another 2ml and its just as small and good as Hadaly... hard to over sqounk a RDTA too.
