Well, the energy is going SOMEWHERE. I'd be looking for where it was throwing off some considerable amount of heat...

Never even seen one of these devices let alone actually used one but energy doesn't just evaporate quietly and without trace !

Have you checked the battery current to see if there's a significant quiescent current ? i.e. a significant current drain all the time even when it's doing nothing. Lots of issues can potentially cause this, especially ESD damage.

Is the battery truly fully discharged after the short time that the device is usable ? If not then it's probably just a high resistance contact somewhere that's fooling the voltage monitoring.

Otherwise, I also reckon something somewhere ought to be getting unexpectedly mighty hot when you use the device.

EDIT: One more thought if there's no obvious unexplained battery drain. If you're using a 3500mAh battery, presumably this has a relatively low max discharge current spec and a relatively high internal resistance ? If so, then maybe try a lower capacity battery but with a higher max discharge current rating. If the device takes stupidly high peak current pulses when in use (which it almost certainly does) then the volt drop across the battery's internal resistance may also be more than sufficient to fool the voltage monitoring. A lower capacity battery might actually perform for significantly longer in reality because the terminal voltage is typically higher under load.

3500mah battery at 30w

GA? High mAh batteries aren't great at max amps. (1300mAh at 3.2v). It's actually a little better (almost 1500mAh) as the battery tested was substandard.

30Q (2000mAh at 3.2v)

Probably just a bad dose of parasitic vd, I believe its rife in the vaping community rite now. Take a few penicillin and report back here.

Must be the Istick brand chip. My Istick TC60w is sucking up the batts more than any of the single cell mod I have.

I've yet to find one these mythical mods that eat batteries or makes any difference in battery use.

After all, my pico is white so it can't have the same board as a silver one. My vaper logic tells me so.

Got my SS this morning, Bought from here. Only used wattage mode so far, Probably will stay in watts tbh. Gone through 3 tanks on my Diablo RTA so about 6/7ml of juices, Dual clapton .35. About 80% battery life still showing, LG HG2

Had the impression my treebox was 'eating' batts. measured the cutoff voltage- was over 3.5V...
