Hunh - so you *did* mean a literal 3 hours, and not a Steamengine's Battery Drain 3 hours.

Sounds like something's amiss, there...

.5 coil @ 30 watt I`m getting about 2 tanks or more of battery life with a lemo 2. On a normal work day 1 batt sees me from early morning till tea time no problem. Using samsung 25r that are in good condition.
I`m impressed with the battery life. Its better than some and no worse than others Ive owned.

I ordered 12 samsung 30q batteries at 3000mah each. @nutshot, from what you are getting from a 25r, would it be reasonable to say I should get a little longer per battery @25watts on a 1.0ohm coil?

10ml a day says something right there, that's more than double myself or OP, Jeggs.

I'd like to know the actual capacity of the cells you're using from 3.2V-4.2V. With my settings, my charge is usually down to about 3.4V when I hit "weak battery".

How long are your puffs? Me, about 2 seconds or less usually, with a good 30 seconds rest between puffs.

If the differences there can't explain it, then I'd suspect you have an issue with the module somewhere causing it to run poorly.

BTW, OP, I use a 1oHm coil @25-30W for my 18350 vamo and still get pretty decent run time, imho. You'll be fine with that on a single, 3000mAh 18650 ;-)

I literally just put a fresh battery in it charged to 4.19. Took 3 hits and my battery level shows at 75%. Batt reads on MM 4.05V. Going to throw another freshly charged batt in it and leave it sit OFF for at least 8 hours. Then I'll turn it on and see what the batt leval says and also measure my batt voltage with a MM. I want to see if I got one with a constant drain.

I just got the SS one.

Mine also has that .2 watt creep down. I set it to 35W and lock it and then notice out of the blue it's locked now at 34.8. I flashed it back to 1.0 then 1.01 again and it still does it.

"Took 3 hits and my battery level shows at 75%"

There has to be an issue of some kind I would imagine. Surely that is not normal.

Pretty interesting topic and I am glad I brought it up. I looked online for info, but didn't seem to find anything. It's good that others can read this information.

Cloudzbro syndrome, and no offence to those who might take offence. There's no reason whatsoever to sub-ohm if higher resistance vaping keeps you off cigarettes. I don't sub-ohm and can make a single 18650 last a day or more in one of these devices. Plus I'm not churning through juice.

In a nutshell - 1.5-2.0 ohm single coil vaping means you're not beating the shit out of your battery.

If you prefer direct to lung then sub-ohm may be your bag and I can't help you there.

Yep I vape 1ohm+ coils usually. Now and then use ego one .5 coils as I think they are great and easy on the juice. I'm not a huge clour chaser, I like good taste and a good throat hit. That is all I need to keep me off the smokes and happy. :)
