Level = 0

I bought one for my friend. Built and wicked it for him. Small Clapton coil. Tested it. Smooth.
I'm not a single coil guy. But if I was, I'd have one of these.

I put a juggernaut coil in mine and the flavor is great but it does spitback pretty badly!

I built this one with various coils and wicking types. They perform great, but I do get some crackling and popping, which led to burnt spots on my tongue. Not fun.

At the moment, I am building with the basic 0.7ohm, 3mm, KA1, space coil, with slight tugged cotton, just passing the deck. And still a little popping/crackling/spitback.

Please offer suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Do you make your own juice? If so don't put more than 5% water or vodka in it or it will spit and crackle like mad. Could also be something in you juice like sweetner etc.

I make my own juice, but not with any other additives than 10/90 PG/VG.

Sometimes spitback occurs if you don't use enough wick it leads to an over saturated wick which produces lots of popping and cracking. I had this issue in the STM when I first started using the RTA.

turn down your wattage until spitback stops then crank it up in .1 wattage increments while testing for your desired vapor warmth .
