This is the new kid on the block and maybe another option to consider... Especially since it comes with 2 decks for single or dual coil builds. SKU 5435800 Goblin mini v3

Available separately is an extension tube to increase juice capacity another 2ml. Overall a versatile little atty that's adaptable to change. Should satisfy your dad's needs, well into the future.

+1 on the Pico, or a VTC mini.
Good luck with your purchase decision juney...

Have a look at the Nectar micro SKU 4133000, It holds 3.5ml. on refill (probably slightly more on a first fill) is very small and easy to coil. Here is a review photo of the blue one on a Pico.

I really like these for flavour, simplicity and portability, and have now ordered a second one.

Edit: These are for mtl up to a restricted dtl.

Thanks, yes I was quite surprised at first that this never leaked, another advantage that I forgot to mention is the price:)

Don't have the Goblin mini v3 foxey.
I'm assuming based on the popularity of the Goblin series that the newest rendition will be a winner. Just threw it out there for consideration because of it's versatility to accommodate different vape styles or tank size requirements. Although, it would of been better if Youde included the extension tube for complete adaptability all in one package.

Do u guys think it will be good choice to buy this?

Yes. It's a great tank and it will let you use coils of the resistance you prefer, no problems.

Does the Serpent even close down enough for a good mouth to lung draw though? From what I've seen you can still get a direct lung draw with the thing completely closed. There are several devices I get direct lung draws from almost completely closed and they aren't as wide open as the Serpent looks to be. Just seems like even if it could be used MTL it would be really loose.

That was the reason I gave it a miss. It looks too airy, but I like from 0.8 to 1.5mm. OP's father is a smoker and most smokers don't DTL.

Incidentally, there's a lot of cheap and good Kanthal here.

You can get a good set of 27, 28, 29, 30 gauges for 1 to 1.5 ohms and be covered for a while.
