Works for me as perfect fit. I'll sometimes drop in a 3mm coil but the clearances are pretty tight. 2.5mm works great with Fiber Freaks 10mmx70mm pre-cut wicks and I get two wicks out of each one. 6 wraps of 24ga SS works great for TC on my Pico. I've done SS Claptons too which work ok in TC but I prefer single wire for this atty as I don't notice a lot of difference between flavor or cloud production. The only downside I have with this is the deck screws and single wire...you really have to be careful to get the wire and grub screws to line up.

3mm 'micro' (none of that fancy clapton stuff) coils work fine for me, 6/7/8 wraps.

Twisted? I can't get twisted to line up with the grub screw. It always wants to get squeezed out. I use 24ga SS for TC builds or clapton for wattage.

You can also double up the wire at the posts with a single wire. I have been using 316L ribbon wire spaced around a 3mm mandrel for TC. With it, there doesn't seem to be an issue at the posts. Authentic MKWS 316L Stainless Steel Resistance Wire for RBA Atomizers

I do have to rap my coils counter clockwise.

Note: I love this atty. I can't wait to get the 25 mm version.

Yeah its usually a fiddle, What I do is leave the coil inside my coil winder pole to help line the wires exactly im the middle of where the screw will make contact. I have 26g + ribbon twisted in my silver one & 28g quad twist in my black. I found it more frustrating clipping down the wire ends when screwing on the chamber. A tenth of a MM will cause a short in that thing!
