My Ultrafire sk98 from ft has a Lattice bright led, gets real hot on high and light is more a blue color.

There's not 2 separate LEDs in those pics. It's the same LED in each pic.

Neither. Look closely at both pics. Compare the small dents, marks, bits of lint etc. and you'll see both images are the exact same. There's only one image of a real XM-L2 in those pics.

I just need one more flashlight. Just one. Honestly. :D

Since it's a genuine Cree that's pictured, it's very good.

Fakes like Latticebright are not as bright, usually have a bluish tint and generally aren't as reliable/long lasting as Cree LEDs.

I just need one more flashlight. Just one. Honestly. :D

LOL guys!

I just took a bunch of shots of the emitter with my Moto G 2013 and, after discarding the ones I didn't liked, ended up with two which just were too close so, I cropped them out and made that montage. That's it.

Mmm, my friend (the torch's true owner now) just reported that, compared to another SK98 genuine XM-L clone, the light of this flashlight seems warmer and with better CRI. Quite odd since this torch's specs claim a 7000K XM-L2…
I wonder where do they get those figures.

Well, regarding the aforementioned report from my dear friend Peter, he is plain bollocks. I knew he had an XM-L SK98 clone, and for obvious reasons I thought he had compared that torch with this one. But no, the poor m@#$% had it checked against an SK68 with a… LatticeSh1te emitter. No wonder he was reporting better CRI and tint out of the Cree emitter.
He still believes this torch's led light to be better to that of his other SK98 anyways.
