Don't have one, but it looks like it would be easy to overstuff those wick openings and make a choke point in the cotton. Try cutting back on the amount in the channel.

Mine works correctly apart from some small juice leaks sometimes
juice channels opens very good
i tried different wicks and methods very loose to tight with muji cotton and fiberfreaks
but it just looks like no matter what i do there's not enough juice coming in

I only have 50/50 here otherwise i would have tried 70/30 to see if that helps

+2 details

That's a .4 ohm 26 gauge parallel coil with a 3mm ID. My liquid is pretty much as thick as it can get short of just using straight VG. The only thing thinning it out is 3.5ml of flavoring for 30ml VG. I've never gotten a dry hit on this tank. I run it on a mech so it uses about 35 watts.

ur wicks should come out like 1mm more on both sides. ur coil diameter should be bigger. probably more wick too.

Stop focusing on the wick and juice flow for a second.
Look into the wattage vs the air flow you are using it at.

I am assuming your coil heat flux and wicking are right since you are not talking about dry hits + burnt taste.

Dry hits + poor flavor is always, and will always be, a air flow problem.
A flavor, a vapors, dilution problem.

Two ways to fixe that:

-Reduce the air flow.
-Increase your coils surface area(more wraps or thicker wire) and use more watts.

Do you mean mine? If so it already works perfectly. I'm showing the pics as an example of how to wick it correctly. A 3mm coil works just fine, but I wouldn't go smaller. You don't need hugemongongous coils in this thing. And the tank wouldn't even screw on if the wick stuck out an extra mm on each side.

first of all its best to push in the deck in first b4 you start threading it in. and also the more u can stick out and manage to thread in the better.

and yeah you dont need huge coils but when u do get one to fit, its glorious. mine did go like 1mm above the rim of the deck piece however

i also noticed that less wick and more closed juice flow tastes better than more wick and max juice flow

I've not got one however Ringo has a point to be considered and DefMunky has experience.

RINGO SAID, " it would be easy to overstuff those wick openings and make a choke point in the cotton". Try cutting back on the amount in the channel.

AND DefMunky is Vaping 90% VG with that build, so make sure you try less cotton in your juice channel.
