You're missing something. The Footoon is, um, "special". It's not like the other kids. It takes a different bus to a different school, and wears a helmet to bed. Think "building a vertical chimney-type cartridge coil like you'd use in a clearomizer", only somewhat more fiddly.

It's apparently a nice vape if you have the patience for it.

Here you have a nice video tutorial for the Aqua FX RBA.

I still have this one laying around somewhere. Been vaping on it for a few months. If you like to hobby with RTA's, you have the patience and building skills, it's actually fun and a real good vape.

It's a vertical coil RBA. You twist a coil, wind cotton around it and then you put it inside the ceramic cub, then bend the legs of the coil from the inside out over the cub edges and lock them with the little steel clamps. You put that in the RBA which you screw into the base. Fire up and clouds :)

Not for mechs though, cause the voltage drop is epic lol :D but on a reg mod it's a pretty good vape.

This looks interesting. I was looking for something like that to make your own vertical coils. For the price I've got to pay for it I'm going to give this a try.

@AlienGreay, here's a few pics i still have of the coil and RBA

on the left the pieces of cotton you get with it. The thin cotton goes arount the coil first, and then the thick piece.
in the middle a new freshly made coil, on the right the RBA fully built.

And here a coil after a few weeks use. Ofcourse the cotton gets gunky after a while, but the coil itself stays completely clean after weeks of use. You can use such a coil for months if you like, with only changing the cotton from time to time.

Hope you like the tank

Thanks for the pics. I've been watching some reviews and they all seem to like it. It doesn't seem to be too complicated to build it. It's a bit of work but I think it's worth it. It's surprised me that I didn't know about this tank because I probably would've bought it a long time a go.

My only concern is if it's possible to build smaller diameter coils because I would like to use it as a MTL tank.

Smaller diameter coils is gonna be hard. I tried it with 3mm and 2.5mm, but didn't work that well. You're tied to the 4mm inner diameter of the cub. That's what the steel rod is for. Better build a 4mm coil with thinner wire, like 28G to up you ohms and lower wattage.

Also the airflow is more of the Restricted DL type. It can do MTL if tuned down tightly but will still be a bit of a loose one. If you like a loose mtl draw it'll be okay, but don't expect "berserker tight" draw.

There's a 1 ohm coil with it for mtl though. Try that first and you'll have a good starting point.
The 0,4 ohm that goes with it is for DL obviously

@Cattledog69

Are we going to need replacement ceramic coil housings?
