Definitely capable of fast charging up to 2.4A, and the unidirectional USB on the adaptor end is pretty cool. However. As is the case with 99% of charging cables, the micro USB is the weak point, and mine (which cost me £10!!) stopped charging at full speed unless the connector was in the device at precisely the right angle. Ditched it and bought six LG 18g copper core cables for 99p each - the first one has been in use for months, and continues to work flawlessly.
