Old issues coming back....
I have 2 VTC minis and overall Im very happy with them, the only issue I have is in TC mode, one of them reads the ohms lower, for example if I use a 0.2ohm coil, it reads 0.17ohm, which makes that I cant vpae anything out of it unless I crack it to 540-550F, when usually I vape at 440F.

The shame in this mod, AND THE QUESTION I HAVE FOR YOU ALL, is that I can fire the mod with the resistance not locked, then wait a bit, remove the battery and plug it again, then the mod ask me if there's a new coil and as its a little warmer, the reading of the coil is higher, lets say 0.2ohm (that is actually the REAL VALUE of the coil), then I lock it and vape like a charm at 440F, after a while when I try to vape again, I can barely exhale any smoke, because the resistance went back to the damn 0.17ohm, so even though I locke the resistance, it always goes down, IS THERE ANY FIX FOR THAT??

Thanks guys!!

i have no clue if it will fix your issue, but it might...

One big failing of these mods is this "feature". Temp control is crap anyway

No idea.
Have 3 of them and never had a problem with any.
All 3 of mine are different versions.

Almost certainly that those symptoms are due to the crap 510 and the way it was weld with the board...
I have one of the first ones that came out and I can only use it in power mode, TC is crap.
I already tested all the existing firmware's and didn't feel any improvements.

No doubt the 510s were crap but of my 3 they are the mods I most change atomizers on so I can leave better mods at home and take these instead.
Hence, more screwing and unscrewing done on these eVics than any other mod i own and never once had a problem with them.

Maybe you guys are a little heavy handed screwing them on?

actually I've never noticed any problems with the 510, I have both of them over a year and use them non-stop (are the only 2 mods I have), but is true that I screw some attys quiet hard because if not they dont sit flush.

I always use heat sinks so there's little wear and tear on the 510. Just an idea...

My 510 has taken on the impression of the Goliath V2 pin it's had so much use, I wish they had just made it flat. Still works like a charm though.
