Can you dry burn SS 316L? I'm new to 316 and would like to be safe, is it similar to Ni200 and Ti in that case?

Thanks

No, it can't handle dry burning. Dry burns usually melt the wire, but at the minimum, overly oxidize it.

Light pulsing, resulting in the coils not getting hotter than a red-orange in color is still OK though.

Basically if it goes past a light blue in color after heating and then cooling, you probably got it too hot.

Woah, mama!

SS will accentuate the acidic flavors better, resulting in a crisper flavor for some/ most liquids

100+ I so rarely see that expressed as well
