I would do, 7 to 8 wraps, 3mm Inner diameter of coil, spaced coil
for a 0.5 to 0.6 ohm coil

TCR 108 for 316L ..best temp 200c to 220c or 390f to 430f
SET power to 30 to 40 watts in VT is a good start point
move up if you like...
try this SKU 4089900 316L 28/32 clapton

3mm ID in a Zephyrus is huge IMO. Even with 26awg it will be a tight fit. 2.5mm ID is probably better in a zeph...

These work really well in a Zephyrus, and are all 316SS in the middle, resistance section.

Also, I think spaced coils perform better in a Zephyrus, but that's just from my experience.

on the zeph v1 3mm is too big...the v2 is ok...but I usually do 2mm 8wraps 26G KA1.Im not sure about ss...because i heard that SS can be fired in vw and tc...not sure about a coil build for creamy flv with throat hit.

If you got the room try a coil spaced, not micro
yes you can use watts or power mode.. just don't light up the coil before
wicking red hot like kanthal, just add cotton and fill

also a spaced coil will have less hot spots and you
cant dry burn anyway to see, so go with spaced coil.. IMO

Red is fine, orange is pushing it (probably too far), and yellow is bad.

Pulsing SS coils is more difficult than a-1 or nichrome wire because if it get's too hot, you'll "pop" (most likely melt) the wire.

It will oxidize the surface and melt the coating and wire will melt
and its then not safe to vape like that after..
its not like kanthal a1

and yes pulse it is fine..

SS wire is easier to coil than a-1 or nichrome, imo. It's more stiff, but holds its shape better too.

It's nowhere near as bad as Ti when it comes to the "no dry burning" rule.
