Changed the name on the roll and even the taste and the ohms.
I used a lot of kanthal A1 28 to build in the kayfun mini v3 and the speed revolution always using ud wire. When i bought it last time instead of "kanthal A1" it is written "KA1", strangely even the taste, the way that the coil become hot changed, and usually with a 2 mm support an 5 wraps of it the ohms were 0.9 (something near it) read by a DNA, but now with the same rda (speed revolution) and box (drone) it reads 0.74. There is something strange in all this, did anyone noticed the same thing? It's real kanthal A1?

I ordered this kanthal A1 wire but not received yet. I would like to know if it's really authentic UD wire.

"Kanthal" is a trade name - that could explain the name change at least.

I am thinking that is kanthal D instead of A1. Is more reactive and with same wattages that I used with the oldest wire, the rda is much hotter. I dont't know why!

The lower resistance (from your previous coils) would indicate it's not Kanthal.

A 5.5 wrap, 2mm ID of 28awg Kanthal A1 would have a resistance of 0.908 Ω
A 5.5 wrap, 2mm ID of 28awg Nichrome N70 would have a resistance of 0.739 Ω

My guess is the material was mislabeled and you're actually using Nichrome...
