Soldering @JPBel
Is there any version of these cells sold with tabs to make soldering many of them more easily?
I guess a regular iron solder station is not recommended to solder them directly?

Thanks

Spot welding may be preferred. FT sells nickel strips just for this purpose. Spot welder can be made with lead acid battery, wires, and electrodes ( copper ?). Google battery spot welder.

Thanks all!
I'd like avoid the battery case or holder because of the additional weight for my plane.
It is feasible buying the nickel strips and use the iron solder to solder them without using the spot welder?

I'm not an expert, but someone who is said it can be done with a good soldering iron (at least 60 watts) with a large tip to hold the heat, so the the tabs are soldered on very fast.

JPBel seems to know a lot about soldering. You can edit the title of this thread and add @JPBel to it to attract his attention.

Not forgetting, just don't know who they are. I don't vape, so there's a whole lot of threads I never read.
