Just about to ,but
Was just about to pull the trigger but 20,21700? I guess not. Now thinking XTAR VC4s.

Typically charge 4 18650's daily @ .5/1A, not looking for a fast charger. Looking to replace my tired old XTAR MC2, four years of good service and my BANYOU BY002X.

Any decent alternative to the XTAR VC4s?

SKU 3984500 I've used mine for a good couple of years without a problem, unlike the XTAR VC4 which it replaced.

That was the problem with mine. I changed the cable three times and then gave up.

I ditched the usb cable and bought a plug in power adapter 240volt 2.5 amp off eBay and it’s been excellent ever since. The supplied usb cable are trash.

Finally went for Liitokala Lii-500S
"CHARGE, DISCHARGE and TEST modes can work simultaneously"

Tests the capacity of your cells.

Worth a punt.

That's the one I got also....had it for a short while, but it's working fine, and it has a lot of room to spare for 21700s.

Mine works well too.

Took a while to get used to, after earlier Nitcores.
Still dont like the lighting on this one though.

On Nitecores, as batteries were charging there would be flashing arrows moving upwards until the top, meaning it was done.
This one has a screen that is not lit up so I have to keep picking it up to look closer, to see if it is done.

Even then, sometimes it says it is FULL or many times it just has some weird number combinations (seconds perhaps?) so I am not sure that it is done.
I pull out the plug quickly, put it back in and then a few seconds later it will read FULL.

I prefer the notification arrows on the Nitecore.

The more you study the more you know... the more you know the more you forget. The more you forget the less you know... so why study?
