Let me be your Phantus-ee.
Postman arrived today with some wonderful things...

(The DVD and the Mod are new.)

Started looking through my atties to see what would sit will in the Phantus. Noticed my old Avocado sitting forlornly at the back of the shelf...

Tried to remember why I'd stopped using it, and remembered that it was two reasons: 1 - The glass had cracked, and 2 - The dual-coil build meant that refilling was a pain in the arse (required a needle).

But, it was such a nice fit in the Phantus, I searched around and found the box.

Dug out the spare (frosted) glass, and also the little ceramic blocker to convert the atty to single-coil. Removed the old wicks, and one of the coils, dry-burnt the remaining coil, cleaned the other parts of the atty, added the blocker, and re-wicked.

Sits in the Phantus like this:

The little gap is just enough to ensure absolutely unimpeded airflow. With a single 18350 and a 0.6ohm coil, you can get a nice tasty vape by drawing very slowly, or a light vape by drawing normally.

The beveled top nicely echoes the bevel on the mod I think.

Really happy to have resurrected a nice little atty and popped it on a cute brand new little mod. :)

That looks super-awkward to use, what with the drip tip and fire button being right next to each other :(

Yes and no. Some folks seem to like the tank to sit as flush as possible. I use taller tanks or longer drip tips just for the reason you stated.

@ Sossij

Looks as though it would be a huge PITA, but in fact it's quite a convenient way to vape. Your thumb only needs to be on the side of the button to operate it. With the button depressed thus, you can bring the tip to your lips without any obstruction.

If that's a good likeness, hold it vertically with the drip tip in the mouth and use that chin to fire the mod

Ahahahahh. No likeness. Nonetheless I just I just tried it, and it's actually quite a comfortable way to use this mod! Thanks!!! :)

(Since the spring is really light and the contact is nice and solid, it doesn't take a great deal of pressure to operate the switch, so yours is actually a practicable method of operation!)

Next time I'm out with friends I will ask them to rate how ridiculous I look using the mod on a scale of 1 to 10, then get back to you here.
