Dacraesh, are you sure it was a hotcig? There are lots of taifun clones. Does the deck unscrew from the base like a hotcig?
I'm surprised you got a hotcig this bad, but maybe the vendor that sold it was getting stuff that were rejects, or scavenged from trash dumps.
I wish I knew where you got it so that I don't make the same mistake myself.
Hoping you are able to get a refund. $9 may not be a lot, but I haven't gotten so rich that I could afford to light cigars with $10 bills :)
