I wouldn`t have used them if thy were whistly & whiny in any way. As they don`t have massive open airflow, they don`t sound like those people you see on videos sucking so hard on devices like their last available breath was inside there, sounding like a busted open high pressure gas pipe at an embarrassingly noisy level.
