So, basically now there is no reason to prefer Subtank over the Toptank anymore ? :)
I mean, if they have the same RBA head, the Toptank wins (not counting the complectation) because it has the top fill.

you are not right - toptank's rba has a bit smaller holes (because of top fill), this can be easily checked on youtube reviews.

Read the posts. People say the Subtank mini comes now with the similar to the Toptank RBA head.

This seems like a better pick than the Toptank mini since i could care less about top fill and this comes with a spare glass tank thats supposedly thicker as well.

I hesitated which one to buy for a long time. Read a lot of forums and reviews, and besides the RBA holes there was no serious difference between the tanks. I bought the Toptank eventually. I think for the same price and the same RBA head it's better to have the top fill. The glass is not a problem, it's available for $1.50 I think.

They have the same RBA head now. I bought an extra one with the bigger holes. Both tanks have similar issues. I have not received mine yet, so I can't tell if it's good or not.

I don't mind the older RBA , it works fine and you screw the top on which i like . That small screw with the V2 is a nightmare to hold on to.

Oddly despite the older RBA it does have the new V2 base , a vendor in the USA is blowing out the STM for $9.99
