The best solution is vertical build.

I know ;-)

Thin, twisted wires for the most flavor, spaced coils for the biggest clouds, micro coils for the best all-around.

Parallel coils with thin wires to elevate any one of them ;-)

i just had my Subtank mini for the past 2 weeks.. initial impression was fine.. well built device. rebuildable mode is fine. i was happy with it until i started using the OCC coils. GOD! the spitbacks are crazy with this thing in OCC coil. it will burn you tongue in every inhale even at 24W (my sweetspot on my lemo is 1.0hm @ 28W). i dont know if its just me. anyone having same issue?

Your juice has a very high PG/water content.

stock are Spaced coils which commonly spit back. Try rebuilding with micro-coil. Mine has no issues after that.

sounds like a plan.. will try that later. but will it be more prone to dryhits/burnt taste if we use microcoil? base on my experience in my lemo. microcoil is almost always prone to dryhits. standard spaced 26 coil, 7wraps at 28W is my sweetspot

Micro-coil coil will not have dry hits as long as its not too many wraps, as the longer the width, the more difficult for the heat transfer to dissipate for the centre. Less than 10 micro-coil wraps is fine.

Of course, spaced coils give denser clouds and greater flavour but at the expense of fire-cracker pops and spit backs. Frequently, spaced coils will give you a rude shock with a sudden pop when u fire again after leaving it for some time, LOL.

For micro-coils, it will have more fine mists, depending on how you wick, can have thick clouds as well, the slight trade-off is not really that significant.

I am currently testing a hybrid coil with twin micro-coil(4-5 wraps of 24-26 awg in series) spaced about 2mm apart. Its seems to give the best of both worlds and have been great so far. So you might wish to try.

Use a filter between the ato and the drip tip. An 8mm disk of SS mesh will do the trick.

+1 details
I never had any problems with spit back but it did take me a while to get it to Vape without dry hits using the RBA.

For some reason, I personally find that when many Atty's provide a 0.5 ohm coil, they are delicious but so far I cant seem to replicate a good coil when its 0.5
at that spot i get some dry its but workig on fixing that this week rather than buying much...
none of this is any good if i cant work them well :)

BUT the subtank mini is one I found that 26 gauge, 2.50mm with 9 wraps comes out between 1.0 -1.5 and when it does, I just Vape it at 17-18w and its really good but those 0.5 still allude me :(

Did one 0.8 today and it was awful--just cant seem to find that right spot with 0.5's...had a hell of a time getting the Delta ll at a lower Vape without the LVC coils
still working on that one too--think i am almost there :(
(*~*) Was bored to death.. RIP :)

3w-10w ? perhaps that was too low for the resistance of the coil???

I was thinking the same thing when I read that last night. He must have at least been using the 1.2 ohm coils for any vapor at all to come.
KF4 Leaking? For a more secure seal, replace the o-ring #16 with one that is 1.5mm cross section. SKU 1536606 or SKU 1536607

I get vapor, about as much as a mini protank, on a 0.5 coils at 7W.
The ramp up time is'nt that great tho, but once the atty get warmer it get better.
As for the flavor..., not that great either, unless i close the afc completely.
