Would agree on looking into the Kbox and larger Subtank as a possibility, if your budget allows. Yes, you would need a couple of good batteries and a smart charger, so the price continues to rise - but for the initial investment, you would also have the batteries and charger for future mod purchases.

If you don't have the extra equipment and can't afford to buy it at this point, you may want to look at the Istick 50 watt SKU 2152107 . It will fire down to .2 ohms - and the Subtank mini will fit perfectly on it. You can use the stock coils, both the .5 and 1.2 ohms with it. If you take that route, you'd be looking to spend around $80, but you'd have a complete package. You can also get clones of both the Istick 50 and the Subtank mini - taking the price down further for you - even though I'd personally recommend buying authentic products if at all possible.

Quite a decision, and of course it's entirely based on your budget and preferences. Good luck to you, Dogas_Zubas.

I actually own SKU 2000603 so I'm not chosing setup like Mod+Clearo.
Just wanted to be sure that Subtank is going to work untill I buy mod instead of e-go battery.

I see, wasn't clear that you already owned the Evod. Yes, the 1.2 ohm coils that the Subtank mini uses will fire on your Evod. You may not like the awkward look of it though, since your mod is 18-19 mm and the SM is 22 mm.

L_Rieder, I really don't care about people's attitude or how I look in other people's eyes. If something is suitable for me, then it's ok.
Thank you :)

p.s. you've mentioned bigger Subtank - is it Subtank (6ml.) or Subtank Plus (7ml.)?

Edited on 4/24/2015 at 12:24 AM. Reason: little upd.

Good for you. Normally takes many, many years to reach that point. :D

I have the 6ml Subtank and am fine with it - apparently the 7 ml is the newest. I believe that the 7 ml has the advantage of being able to use the same RBA section as the Mini. Could be wrong, but pretty sure.

I think you're right. If only someone at Kanger had said the same as everyone else when they realised the RBA section needed a different cap, by which I naturally mean "WHICH FUCKWIT THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA?" they could have saved some tooling costs.

Meh, I will never use the OCC coils anyway, and I got in on the mispriced 10 RBA decks for fifteen bucks deal so I'm set for life.

But why could anyone need 10 extra RBA decks?! I thought that RBA module contains only steel, so it can work forever.

Ah, good question. Having ten decks means I can use the subtank like one would if using the premade coil heads. Instead of carrying a mini tool kit in case I need a rebuild, I can have a couple of prebuilt decks in my pocket and ready to go. I used to rebuild my protank heads, so the subtank just makes the process easier.

That for me was always the USP. Instead of marketing it as being convertible, they should have pushed the idea that you could have the convenience of a clearomiser, but with your own build.
