Rebuild OCC vs RBA?
I've been googling around to see how the original RBA performs & being made, but all I get is how to rebuild its OCC...most of the time.

Out of curiosity, why is it more popular to build OCC instead of using RBA unit?

I loved the originality of subtank concept, but didn't bother too much because of the original size. The mini one is more promising, and should be it from the start.

The videos I saw said something about air flow is decreased when using the RBA base.

yeah, the RBA head is pretty much a kayfun deck, complete with fairly small airhole running up through the positive post.

rebuilding the clearo heads doesnt look too hard, only thing is the RBA head is going to be much quicker to re wick

using the RBA now and it's much better than the 25mm version.. the fact the coil stays low makes it wick loads better and it's supremely easy to rewick. it's very much improved on the kayfun design and reminds me more of building a squape.

airflow is reduced a little bit from the OCC coils, but again nowhere near what the 25mm version does.

flavour is great and very close to the OCC's with my first simple build, but @ 0.6 ohms seems warmer than the standards at a lower wattage. using 70VG it does struggle a little from cold, but once it warms up it's fine.

overall I'm pretty impressed with it.

This mini version has better airflow than the 25mm one in RBA mode!

This photo is just to show I do have this tank ;)

You could squeeze a whole chicken in those sick airholes.
