I've still got a dirty mind, so I rule out brainwashing.

I did receive one of these about an hour ago and it's working fine for me so far. Cranked up to 30W, at least.

I gave it a whirl at 7W (0.49Ohms says the display) and I can tell it's pushing well over 7W while throwing a "too hot" indication frequently. Haven't seen that message at 30W, though, and even ran it through a full 15 second fire at that setting (per Cloupor) without any problems.

So far so good. Decent mod. It's my first regulated mod, though.
Rube Goldberg would get a kick out of "temperature control" devices.

The battery level on my chip never changes not unless I take the battery out and put back in again which is annoying as F#&*!

Had mine about 2 weeks with no problems (ordered middle of March), no heat up using a Subtank, Atlantis, Kayfun, etc. .5 ohms and up, 15-30 watts, Complete discharge, use usb passthru, usb recharge thru a cell phone cable, battery levels, and ohms accurate on screen.

Using a sammy 25r in that one, haven't changed the battery yet, and no melting or burning evident. Doesn't warm up at all, even when the atomizer gets hot. Great little mod so far.
Peace be with you ...

Snork, that's how you test if yours has a fault - dry burn for fifteen seconds until it cuts out. If there's no error message, and it let's you fire again immediately, you're all good.......

........ also, if it doesn't burn your house down, that's a good test as well.

Joking aside, has anyone's actually failed? I'm not on social media outside here, so I'm not so up on the scuttlebutt.

I picked up one around the end of February and it has worked flawlessly since day one. This is a very good mini mod, I would recommend to anyone.

Meh, I hope they sort out the issue if there actually is one, because it's a stonking little mod. It would be a shame for them to be the next vape pariah. I like mine so much that I'm tempted to buy a second as a spare in case one goes kaput. Maybe that's part of their marketing strategy?

They fixed the overheating problem not long after it was released.
Mine failed at the 510. I got the Sigelei mini a few weeks ago to replace my Cloupor and its way better. Its a bit bigger but built to last

nothing to see here
