Yes but while all electronics will fail one day, with a mech mod you can still vape on.
(just a humble opinion)

I can't stand 510 tips anymore. They just restrict air flow & reduce clouds... This is awesome IMO!!!

Bigger cloud = bigger flavor and more satisfying for me, but it's not a "my cloud is bigger than yours" thing at least, I just can't get a satisfying vape at all below 20W myself... lol
That being said, I'd order another gaia, a clt v2 or a haze dripper well before ever considering this one.

Yeah that was rhetorical :P 510 don't "reduce clouds", bad builds and bad juices do. As for flavor it's questionable.

Now if you tell me it reduces airflow, because you lung hit, that I can agree with. But then again, it's a minority and chuffs should be an option, not the fucking norm!

I might venture that's true but you can only force so much air through the intakes of your atty too ;-)

The chuff caps reduce the "nozzle" effect on the airflow out the top in my opinion. This reduces the interior airspeed and gives you warmer vapor in more volume instead of a faster rate. This might be the secret to the improved flavor I'm getting with mine versus a 510 tip.

"Nozzle" effect under negative pressure?

Rube Goldberg would get a kick out of "temperature control" devices.

I can see that for cloud blowers a standard bore 510 can be the weakest link if they can build properly but when he "nozzle" is bigger than the intake as it is here(pic4) it becomes an engineering faux pas.

That's where I was thinking about it. Most 510 tips just don't offer as much airflow as LOT of drippers these days. My gaia was one of them with many DTs. When I switched to Wide bore tips it got better, but as I build for more power, I had to drill the airflow more, and then finally remove the top cap completely and switch for a chuff cap.

That I can understand.
Just for teasing: my latest concern has been, how to blow less clouds.
(and I'm usually around 0.8-1.5 ohm) Just for not to overpower the others around me, to be able to see through th window when I drive and for not to fill up the room with fog where staying. But each one one's own.
