EVOD's press to smoke system.
This topic was first opened because of a false problem that I thought there was with my EVOD because I was used to an automatic system, and not to a press to smoke system. So you may not understand the next posts because the main post was edited as it was all my other posts.

For the newbies like me that changed from an automatic system e-cig to a press to smoke system like EVOD, you need to click 5 times to turn it on, it will flash 5 times, and then you press the button while you inhale on each smoke you do, don't forget to click 5 times to turn it off after you end smoking. (to check if turned off after the 5 times you clicked, if when you click 1 time after those 5 times the light doesn't turn on, it means EVOD is off).

Could be either the center pin in the evod is pushed in to far or you didn't turn it on by pressing 5 times fast.
I'm not conceited, but god knows I have reason to be!

Strkz finally learned how to use EVOD properly. There was no issue actually. Forgive my ignorance.

Have you tried a different USB cord?

If it still doesn't charge you can put in a ticket for a replacement here: Item defective

Sounds like an internal short on the circuit board or a loose wire connection.

Don't worry though FT will sort you out with a replacement. ;)

Whatever you do don't ad to your ticket as it will move to the bottom of the queue and you will wait longer.

Good luck

It sucks, but it happens. Kanger devices are pretty solid, but any ego device is essentially disposable, and built in a way to minimise overall size. As everyone has already said, FT will sort you out with no problems. They might ask you initially for a photo or video, as it's a form response to DOA tickets, but if you explain the issue, they'll understand. Just send a photo of the device, and tell them the fault isn't one that can be demonstrated in 1/50 of a second.

Sadly you're pretty much on the button, but it will get sorted. As far as I'm aware, it's not a common issue with Emows; In fact, I think yours is the first problem I've heard anyone have with them, so it's just bad luck. At least you remain philosophical about it. :-)

I think i just failed really hard, so EVOD works by clicking(fire) and smoking, i can't smoke without clicking the button right?

Still i will keep an eye on the battery. Please forgive me but my last e-cig was automatic i didn't need to click anything to be able to smoke and i expected the same system on this one.

Oh god! I feel terrible. :(

Time to close the ticket, i will reopen if needed later.

This probably goes top #1 fail of the month on Fasttech.
