That, and the o-ring bites after the threads. The tank can be threaded partly onto the deck and not yet have an o-ring seal.

On mine, I can feel when the o-ring is compressed. Once I feel that, I know I've got a sealed tank.

Also worth noting is that you don't have to expose 100% of the airhole to achieve 100% airflow. 2/3 is indistinguishable from fully open.
Rube Goldberg would get a kick out of "temperature control" devices.

You know what some are like though if they can't physically see they have the air wide open they get all arsey about it

What? No problems with Kayfun dumping its load due to janky o-rings?

Please tell me you're not that stupid.

Yep. Originally I had it wide open, now just over half open, which helps the wobble considerably. Note there is a step at the half way setting on the 'OEM' which may be relevant to this.

Your language is a reflection of you. Than=compare; then=next: duel=fight; dual=twin; bought=buy; brought=bring. Sentences don't always start with so! The word is "you".

The way this was pitched to FT customers comes with an expectation of quality, not loose-fitting o-rings. You shouldn't have to "get lucky" when buying something that's been overtly pitched as "authentic".

Spot on. Nail on the head etc.

As I stated before mine V2 have been spotless since I received it and that is advertised as a Clone, So in this case the Clone is better than the OEM version.

I never had any leaking even with the wobble but guess it could have if I had opened the airflow all the way up and it tilted to the max amount it could have. I know it's an o-ring matter, otherwise the rest of mine is so very good in construction and quality. Have since replaced the dental floss with PTFE tape and all is very well. No wobble and vapes like a dream.

I have to seriously make an effort to 'wobble' mine to make it move, how open do you have it. I think by design on any of the versions if its open too much it will wobble

Except pretty much half of the people who have bought the authentic have theirs wobble too. The authentic authentic is a crap shoot in wobbling too, so that point is moot.

With that said, mine doesnt wobble.
