Am I hallucinating?
Or is this thing charging single 18650s faster than an i4?

I have the specs on an authentic one.
Official specs- on authentic- it doesn't charge 1.2V Ni-MH battery
"1. Nitecore recommends using only quality USB adapters with the UM10. Using poor
quality adaptors may result in the LCD displaying “EE” to indicate an error.
2. The UM10 is restricted to charging Li-ion and IMR rechargeable batteries only.
Never use the UM10 with other types of batteries as this could result in battery
explosion, cracking or leaking, causing property damage and/or personal injury."

Authentic XTAR MC1 PIus SKU 2563900 smaller, lighter- brings over-discharged back to usable
doesn't have the spare charge port.
SKU 2396000 slower

Glad I was able to find a way to sort of disagree with u ;)

The packaging on this product only claims compatibility with Li-ion (stating IMR as well is redundant). I bought it for its stated ability to revive over-discharged cells since my other chargers that do this are 18650 only and I hate shimming/clipping/rigging magnets. It BETTER not support 1.2V cells. I chose this specifically over SKU 2563900 for two reasons:

1. Display.
2. It brought my order to $20.

That's it. I haven't tested the Lazarus function since I don't have any fooked cells on hand.

Edit: heh.. I see the XTar is more expensive than this. I must be misremembering because I could swear the Nitecore was priced just a bit higher.

Oh well, no biggie.

I chose the Nitecore over XTar, in part, due to the display on the Nitecore.

You chose something which FT does not state is authentic.

When I was a FT noob, and thought I'd just get a mini-charger for my immediate modest needs,
I noticed some discussion on the specs stating it could charge Ni-MH-
so I d/l the manual.
Nope

I wish I'd waited for the Authentic Xtar MC1 PIus- instead of grabbing an Xtar MC1-
but, I'm unlikely to use it anyway- portable/emergency back up charger-
and I always carry plenty of charged batts-
my newish 3400 mAh lasts 2 days easily atm.
(<2 hours @ 1.0 Amp charging)

I can live without display, but that resuscitate function on urs could prove useful.
Not sure I'd wanna risk it unless I knew the charger was authentic.

All of FT's Nitecore is authentic. It's always been that way.

Which is confirmed by the included authenticity code and Nitecore's website.
