There are a lot of people with limited dexterity / vision that need assistance doing micro coils or they are left out. I'm surprised at the lack of compassion. The majority of vapers are older.

The only real benefit I can think of for myself,
would be having 5 different size rods to choose from...

Drill bits are nice and all, But DAMN them flukes are sharp!

And being close to 60, The skin on my hands is thin as rice paper,
and tears very easily without me even noticing sometimes...

Can't even work on my own cars anymore... :(

I'm leaning towards the aluminum one....

I'm 55. I have no problems with winding tiny coils, I just can't see them.

Luckily my hands are still excellent for masturbation purposes, but I am concerned that this is reason why I cannot see those frigging coils in the first place.

Best post of the day. Where have you been all my life?

Yup, I'm in your boat too. I need a big magnifier. :)

This is what I use when coiling SKU 1398900 due to dodgy eyes.

That plus a jig should makes thinks a lot easier.
When I was younger I used to go skinny dipping. Now, all I can do is chunky dunking.

I'm only 22 and can wrap perfect coils on a screwdriver or drill bit; macro, micro, or nano.

That being said I love my jig. Whether I use it 100% the correct way that holds the wire and lets me torque it like a mofo for gorgeous perfection each time, or the half-assed way, just holding the post in the hole and wrapping like it's any other cylinder, it just makes my job easier. It doesn't take the fun or reward away from it but simply increases the speed with which I can make a gorgeous, high performing coil.

Pardon my run on sentences, but I've met a lot of people who have smart ass comments about using jigs. I just ask if they drill their air holes with a hand drill.
